The Order of President Mahmoud Abbas

Consists of three ranks, divided into two levels, in the following sequence:

1. Highest rank:

• The Grand Collar of Canaanites: Awarded to kings, presidents, and those of similar standing. Additionally, it can be granted to the leaders of the national council and the legislative council, the chairman and members of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the chairpersons and Secretaries General of Palestinian factions and parties, as well as others of similar rank. Furthermore, it can be awarded to both Palestinian and international figures who have made significant and unprecedented contributions to the Palestinian people.

2. Two ranks, as follows:

• The Star of Friendship: Awarded to Palestinian and foreign ministers, ambassadors, envoys, governors, members of parliaments, representative of parties, and those of similar standing.
• The Medal of Achievement: Awarded to esteemed individuals, including personnel and staff from both public and private sectors as well as civil society, who have exhibited exceptional accomplishments and initiatives in the execution of their responsibilities towards their organizations and their nation.
